Leave a Gift in your Will
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul comes together as a family to have person to person contact with those in need to assist them in many ways. The Society not only provides emergency assistance but also provides a hand up to those in need so that they can live an independent and joyfull life.

A gift of publicly-traded securities, such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds, can be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Vancouver Island by following these simple directions:

We are proud of our multiple locations across the Greater Victoria area. Each store has a unique look and feel, wonderful and committed staff, and a large and varied selection of donated goods.
Find anything from clothes, household items, electronics including TV's and game consoles, to furniture, antique merchandise, and hundred-year-old literature!
Please note we cannot accept donations of goods at our Administration office.
In Kind Donations
Throughout the year the Society accepts donations for those in need that are distributed in the Victoria area through the Society Social Concern office on Yates Street and in other parts of Vancouver Island through the conferences in that area. Please consider having a donation drive to assist with the following items:
- Socks and Underwear
- Gloves and Scarves
- Thermal underwear
- Warm Jackets
- Sleeping Bags
- Bottled Water
If you need assistance or have questions about how and where to drop off donations of food or personal items such as those listed above, please call the Administration Office at 250-727-0007. Take note that we cannot accept donations of these items at the Administration Office.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul distributes over $450,000 worth of food annually on Vancouver Island. Three quarters of that food is donated by the community. It is imperative that the Society receive these donations in order to continue to provide the support to those in need.
