Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Vancouver Island closes their Sooke and Central Saanich retail locations
To our Customers and Community:
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul has made the difficult decision to close their Sooke and Central Saanich retail locations indefinitely. The Society is committed to continuing to support those in need in these communities through the outreach and emergency support provided through the Social Concern Program in Victoria and its Vincentian (volunteer member) outreach.
The Society thrift store has been operating in Sooke since 1993 and over the next months, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul will be meeting with organizations in Sooke to determine how best to continue serve and support the local community moving forward.
In addition to the programs and services the Society offers, the Langford thrift store, located at 2784 Claude Road, and the Tillicum thrift store, located at 1010 Craigflower Road are open Monday to Saturday.
